He communicated with us before hand sending useful information, he collected us, drove us around and took us the supermarket! “What a change of scenery this was compared to living in a city! Now that I'm back home, I miss the sounds of nature from this place. At first, the sounds of the insects, goats and chickens was kind of a shock to my system. I had a hard time sleeping for the first night or two. But I totally got used to it, and now I miss it. "Rooms are good enough. Parts of the grounds are very well maintain (the large pool and the area around), while the grounds toward the atlantic beach is less so. The hotel is well situated in the area, with a lot of good and great restaurant options close by. If you prefer bath in the clamer and warmer carabean waters there is a good beach (Frigate bay strip) a 7-10 minute walk away with sereval bars och shack-style restaurant "

"We had a wonderful time at Oualie. The room might be a bit dated and the mozqitos are a menace in the early morning and evening. But if someone asked me I would go back without a doubt."
