  • Njut av Guadalupe River i din egen bakgård på denna 2 hektar, gated och inhägnad, 4 sovrum 4 bad fantastisk hem med vackra däck att sitta, koppla av och titta på knölarna flyta genom! Ingen väntar i linje med den privata floden tillgång bara några steg utanför din bakdörr! Detta hem ligger mellan 2: a 3: e broövergångarna på River Road. Rymligt kök med en ö, stor matplats och vardagsrum. Nedre våningen har 2 sovrum med en queen size-säng och ett badrum bekvämt beläget mellan dem. På övervåningen hittar du det stora sovrummet med en king size-säng och inte en utan två badrum, gott om utrymme och ett privat täckt däck med fantastisk utsikt över floden!
    På andra sidan köket finns ett separat stort rum med flodutsikt och 3 queen size-sängar. Det finns ett badrum och dusch i det här nya tillägget och 2 vackra franska dörrar som båda öppnar upp på det stora däcket. Detta hem har alla bekvämligheter av hemmet inklusive tvättmaskin och torktumlare, kabel-TV och WIFI. Enkel flod tillgång och den perfekta flykten för vänner och familj!
    Det finns underbara röruthyrning, pendeltrafik och underhållning upp och ner River Road! Den närmaste röruthyrningen till hemmet är Billy Goat's Gruff. Det bästa fisket i området! Bara en kort bilresa till Gruene och downtown New Braunfels, som båda erbjuder fina restauranger, underhållning och många aktiviteter. Gruene Hall är den äldsta danshallen i Texas och ett känt landmärke. Gruene erbjuder också bra shopping, restauranger och vinprovning. Nära till köpcentra, Schlitterbahn och Canyon Lake. Great Friendsgiving Weekend!!!!

We are 4 couples and we travel together a couple of times a year. We had a great time at this property! It was perfect for meals, games and stories around the campfire. May have to go back in the summer to enjoy the river! Thanx for providing the perfect setting for our time together!!!!

Great location

Beautiful exterior and location could not be better. Could use some kitchen appliance upgrades. This is my family's second rental of this property and we enjoyed it. It just needs some appliance updates.

The stairs down to the river are a bit slippery and the "floating dock" is very unsteady, we almost fell multiple times. Other than that, the house was great!

Great house needs some remodeling but overall spacious and right on the river. All the neighbors were nice and respectful. Had a great time on the river to cool off from the 110-degree temperatures that weekend. Kids had a blast.

It had everything we needed for a nice stay. It was clean and well maintained. The management company was extremely prompt and helpful in responding to any correspondence . It is about a 20 minute drive to get to Gruene and/or New Braunfels. The river behind the property is quiet and beautiful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is needing a large, but comfortable space.

Nice Weekend

The home was easy to find. Check in process was easy. We were a little disappointed in that one oven was not working, the freezer in the refrigerator was not working (however another unit was provided), and there was some tree debris on the stairs down to the water. It was hard to see the water from the deck due to the large amount of vines and bushes growing up from the river. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We could not get the Wifi to work the entire weekend. This house is right on the water. The stairs down to the water were safe & sturdy.

The property needs some work/repairs. Pretty sure the electrical in the house isn’t up to code. The back porch and stairs have nail heads sticking up which causes accidents. The stairs to the river were covered in mud, from flooding I assume and there was no floating dock as noted on the wall when going out back doors. Lights in upstairs bathroom with shower have a delay before coming on. All door knobs are a bit loose. Microwave turntable doesn’t work. Ovens are very outdated and do not cook thoroughly. Raccoons are a nuisance. House isn’t terrible but definitely a little over priced.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was spacious and clean, but outdated, there were signs on appliances saying they didn't work, yard was overgrown, and patio furniture was dirty and limited for a house that accommodates so many people. We booked this house because we were attending a concert at Gruene Hall and VRBO listing stated 1.76 miles away, when we got address two days before our check in we mapped it and it was not, took 20+ minutes to get to Gruene Hall. We got the run around from VRBO, management said we could cancel and get a refund but by then no other houses were available in the location we wanted.

The house met our needs very well—plenty of bedrooms and beds with comfortable mattresses and linens. The common space was large enough to fit us all easily. We loved the closeness to the river, especially since it was so hot. The new floating dock was awkward and made getting in and out of the river difficult. Not sure if its purpose. The kitchen was well equipped —there were lots of dishes and silverware and kitchen tools but not a single cutting board, which made preparing meals difficult. When we arrived the AC was not working on the upstairs bedroom, but maintenance came and fixed it within a couple hours. We also noticed the kitchen and one bathroom water pressure were non existent—we couldn’t clean any dishes in the sink or dishwasher so we had maintenance come back and they fixed it while we were out. The management was very responsive. We love this location and the house worked well for our needs.

Cozy but very outdated

The house was very cozy inside (although very outdated) but fit our needs. The outside (back) of the house that backs up to the river was very cluttered with tree limbs/trunks, large blocks and concrete boulders throughout the yard. The new floating dock was extremely dangerous. There was no steps to get into the water. Once you step on the dock it moves horribly. There is no balance to it. I know it's floating, but have been on others that are secure and do not cause you to fall. The area around the dock is over grown with weeds. The deck on the rear of the home is in need of repair. At the minimum, nails that stick up should be fixed or replaced. Several from our party tripped from the raised nails on the deck. The home has a LOT of potential...but we certainly will not rent again. The description and pictures are very deceiving

Run Down - Too Much Differed Maintenance

I should have listened to the bad reviews already posted. Dishwasher had years of crap and buildup. Dishes tasted soaping after running. We couldn't use it for our whole two week stay. Ceiling vents were hanging by a screw ready to fall down on guests sleeping in the beds. Windows seals broken and the beautiful view was unable to be seen. Upstairs bathroom had water spraying all over counter and couldn't be adjusted. Freezer wasn't working. Old small freezer with ice buildup provided in laundry room Padlock on gate wouldn't open. Took over 30 minutes for handyman to open it for us once we got to the house. House was dirty, bugs on floors, showers had hair. Garbage containers had to be wheeled all the way down the driveway to the street even though there were plenty provided. We will Never rent there again

Beautiful location with easy access to the river for lots of floating fun. Kitchen is large and had almost everything we needed for cooking. Could use a few more dish towels and more than one dish sponge. House is a bit dated. Though and could use a few updates. Corn hole available and a large charcoal grill. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch

Wonderful property! Peaceful!

Every year a group of friends and us take a river trip. This was our first year booking this house, but it won’t be our last. The house and rooms were very spacious and easily accommodated our 10 guests. The front and back yards are huge! You won’t have to worry about parking or being to close to your neighbors. The grounds are maintained beautifully. There is easy access to the river in the backyard and a deck that over looks the water. I highly recommend this house to all.
