“Berkshire Mountain Lodge exceeded our expectations. It is quiet and pretty. I loved the shades of gold and dark red color scheme. Everything was basically new and very clean. The spacious kitchen and living room buffer the bedroom from any noise in the hallway. The bed was very comfortable for our aging backs. “I’ve stayed at this property several times including before it changed management. We have always enjoyed everything about it. My only strong suggestion is that there is better signage out by the highway. You do not see the hotel or the sign until you get very close to the turn and it is a very busy highway. Making a right hand turn is dangerous especially if you have not been there before.”

“We stayed for one night and had the most wonderful stay. The site is beautiful and the private beach was great to go hunting for crabs. The food is beautiful and the s’mores kits are a great touch. The bed is super comfy and the tents are spacious. The team were in hand to help us get our stuff from the car to the tent. All of the team were incredibly helpful and friendly. So happy to give recommendations for walks near by.”

“Good location next to a creek in charming little Wilmington. But rooms are very small and basic. No glas, no bed table or bed lamp. Had to ask the downstair restaurant for WiFi access - but it didn’t reach up to the rooms. The downstairs restaurant seemed really nice but we came on a Sunday so there were no live music and it closed at 9 pm. Without breakfast included it wasn’t the best deal for us. ”

The building is very quaint and homey, but has all of the amenities you need to provide a very comfortable stay. The location is very pretty with nice views.
