“The house was beautiful, the view of the river was lovely, and our 3 boys loved the backyard and exploring the water access area. It was very centrally located to Portland and an easy drive to get everywhere. We also appreciated Nick's emailed list of suggested restaurants and activities and used some of his suggestions which was great as we had never been to the area before. We would definitely stay again! ”

“The house was beautiful and in a great location. The kitchen was well appointed and everything was labeled makingnit easy to find and put away. The beds were comfortable. There wa plenty of seating for meals. The stairs to the lake are well-maintained an has benches at every landing should you need to rest. The boats, paddles, and PFDs were in good condition. Overall it was a great stay. ”

“We had a great stay at Heron’s Perch! This house has lots of space for hanging out and sleeping. The beds are comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels provided and a well stocked kitchen. Our absolute favorite was the wonderful, private front porch. This house is within walking distance to everything down front on the island. If you’re looking for space and being close to the ferry, stores and beaches I would highly recommend.”

“An ideal home away from home at our most favorite place in Maine. Plenty of extra touches to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Owner is quick to respond to any questions, and went well above-and-beyond to help us out when we experienced an unforeseen situation. I am so very grateful! “This home was a gem nothing short of amazing the 360 views from any room were top notch.My only complaint is that the floors were very sandy/sticky/dirty, we swept and mopped shortly upon our arrival but this would not deter me from renting again and again. So comfortable & gorgeous. Do not even think about it BOOK IT ASAP. 10/10 would return. ”

“Had a spectacular week on Long Lake! 8/16/25-8/23/25The house is huge and so comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The house fit us perfectly with 6 adults in the three master bedrooms and 4 kids in the basement cubby beds. Really amazing.The lake is crystal clear. Awesome to have the canoe, 3 kayaks, and 2 stand up paddle boards. There is a sandy beach with a gradual slope. Dock was fun for fishing, relaxing in the sun, and star gazing at night. The water at the end of the dock is around...
