She even dropped by when we were having one small problem and immediately solved it for us, plus gave us great tips about nearby trails to hike and restaurants to try. “We had a wonderful weeklong stay at the cabin. It was nice and clean. It’s great location allowed us to go to Acadia and Portland as day trips. We enjoyed a number of trips on the lake in kayaks. We listened to the loons and saw Eagles every day. Town is quite close for groceries and pizza. Eva was very easy to work with, and very accommodating when I asked about it bringing an extra dog at the last minute. Thank you for a great week!”

“This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.”
