Located in the St. Claude neighborhood, this adorable shotgun is the key to an authentic New Orleans experience! You'll be tucked away in a comfortable residential area, yet still be a 5 minute ride to the French Quarter, Marigny, and Bywater. The owners occupy the other side of this charming double and are available to help if any issues arise during your stay. Come enjoy New Orleans the way locals do in this lovely daffodil colored home!

You'll have everything you need to feel at home during your visit in New Orleans, from a full kitchen and laundry center, to a spacious and comfortable sectional in the living room along with a desk if you need to get any work done during your stay. Two queen sized beds always prepped with clean sheets and comforters will make it easy to get a good night's sleep, and the air conditioning allows you to climate control each room depending on your preference. See what it's like to stay in a traditional New Orleans shotgun house built over 100 years ago - no hallways, each room leads to the next, front to back through the house.

We love the traditional style of this home along with all the modern comforts and renovations that have been done to make it a refuge during your time in New Orleans!

Perfect for 2 couples who don’t mind sharing a bathroom. Full washer/dryer are a bonus. Typical shotgun house. Neighbor dog had some barking issues but not owner’s fault. Always were able to find street parking. Mini splits in each room make it easy to keep everyone comfortable.

We loved Ainsley's Daffodil & Teal Shotgun! It was a great homebase while we explored New Orleans! The house had everything we needed, lots of information about places to go, and was clean. We enjoyed getting to stay in a Shotgun style home!Ainsley was prompt with communication and let us check in early.10/10!

Space was clean and comfortable, and the climate control in each room was a bonus in a hot and muggy place like New Orleans. The beds were super comfortable, I slept better than I do at home. The host was easy to communicate with and very flexible and responsive.

Amazing Property

Great stay!

Cute little house that met all our needs. We were in town for a wedding and there were plenty of mirrors to get ready, a washer dryer if you need, and a mega robust recommendation guide — super helpful. Property manager is quick to respond and very helpful to any of our needs. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

Spacious and well laid out

Incredibly responsive host. Property was clean and exactly like the photos. Perfect for hanging out and especially if cooking instead of eating out. A bit off the beaten path (everything in NOLA is spread out) so quiet. Two cemeteries in easy walking distance.

Great rental!

This property was great. My friend and I were in town for a large event and this place had everything we needed. The standout were the mattresses. They were very comfortable! The neighborhood was safe and the location was easy to get uber/lyft pickups.

We would consider going back for sure

Everything was great. It lacked a few things we look for like tvs in bed rooms. Hooks or shelves to put things on.The bathroom was ice cold so ya gotta leave door open. As soon as we walked in it smelled great til the bathroom. It had a slight old public bathroom smell so it made ya wanna close the door but itd then be cold again. The shower head isnt strong so conditioner that was super nice od thwm to supply was hard to get out. I had to use the kiAnd it wasnt horrible, just noticable.Walking through one bedroom to get to another bedroom, that has the only bathroom was weird. This wouldnt be good for ppl with privacy issues. It didnt bother us at all. Soooo the best part....around nooniah the lady next door playa AMAZING piano. We sat and listened and had breakfast and coffee. It was a bonus my husband an i enjoyed that we never expected to experience. The neighborhood is sketchy mainly bc of bad drivers but everyone arouns waved and made ya feel safw. Now that we are familiar with this place we become creatures of havit and go back. Not everything is gonna be perfect so i dont believe in giving bad reviews if its something you can totally work around. Like i might bring in a safe littlw heater for the bathroom... The place was super clean, super stocked, great location. We could uber everywhere and was less than 10. We loved thia place and would consider going back. The host was nice and allowed us a little walrier check in and very accommodating and responsive.
