“The hosts were amazing and the location was beautiful and perfect. The hosts left fresh fruit from their farm, drinks and snacks for us. They had shampoo, conditioner, and new soap on hand in the bathroom. The property had a pond, and was beautiful. I gave this 4 out of 5 stars due to the beds. Two of the 3 beds had what we felt were uncomfortable mattresses, resulting in one of us sleeping on the couch. I would still recommend this location to anyone traveling to Gettysburg.”

“Enjoyed our stay at the Rested Rooster. property and house was perfect. Very convenient and comfortable. Host was great. ”

“Beautiful old farmhouse. Gorgeous saltwater pool. Nicely appointed bedrooms. Very close to historic gettysburg. Very quiet, peaceful. Loved the farm animals. My children especially loved the barn cats. We did not want to leave. Thank you.”

“This house was a great find! Bedrooms were big and comfortable and the outdoor area was huge and lovely. Thanks for a great stay!”

“This historic railroad house was a great place to stay while in Gettysburg. One thing, since the address is Railroad street, it's true. The train goes by a few times a day, blowing its horn and the track is about 40 yards away from the front porch. Wasn't a bad thing, just forewarning. Working with Chris was great. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“My wife and I chose this home to stay during our trip to Gettysburg National Battlefield. We found the following to be great -1. Pet Friendly2. Great location for access to the town and battlefield.3. Home had all the amenities one could want and all helpful.4. Historical Home!5. Home was beautiful inside and comfortable.6. Of all the places we have stayed during our travels, this rates as the best.7. We will look at this home first if we decide to visit again.Thank You for the Hospitality”

“This home is easy to access from the main road and is situated on a beautiful golf course. There is a good restaurant within the golf club that has great drinks and a patio. The home itself is spacious and comfortable for people traveling with pets. The fenced in section is a huge advantage! The sunsets are indeed impressive!”
