“We arrived late but the parking lot was well lit and felt safe. Check in was fairly easy. Out room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable. There was a free breakfast with just a few choices. I have celiacs and had choices. My husband had a mocha from their beverage machine. Easy checkout.”

“I prefer a known quantity to unique, and Hampton Inn provides a fresh, clean hotel, a delicious breakfat bar with lots of hot and cold choices, and it was quiet. We swam in the pool twice in the afternoon during our 5 day stay, and had it to ourselves. I missed having a hot tub, as this property has the indoors pool but no tub.”

“This is a small, new hotel, nestled along the railtrain in New Paltz. It's "along" in the sense that the rooms are lined up, balconies facing the railtrail, and immediately beyond (through a treeline) the Wallkill. It's well sited on a beautiful site. Of course the railtrail is convenient, as is Water Street Market, which also follows the rail trail. It's also just a short walk into town, to the bridge across the Wallkill and a trial that leads to the ridge, and up the railtrail and to the left,...

“Very relaxing for what we had planned. The room was clean, the "breakfast nook" was abailable at all hours - Self driven. Hot Tub available and large enough to accomodate comfortable over 6 people. We were able to travel to downtown New Paltz very easily and we visited other nearby towns: Kingston, Rhinebeck and Hyde Park. We love to walk and each area was very walkable ... great dining also available in each town. A great and wonderful walk or bike was the "River to Ridge Trail. Beautiful...

“When we arrived at the house, we unpacked and within a few minutes, we smelled something that smelled like sewer gas in the bathroom. The owners came over and accused us of pouring something down the drain to get out of paying them. We could not stay in the house it smelled so bad and they would not refund our money.
