  • Experience beauty inside and out at Maren's Hideaway. This modern cabin is part of Wilder's beautiful 40 acres and is situated privately among the 10 total cabins on the Wilder Property. You will be nestled amongst the trees of our private woods, which is lined with hiking trails. Come unwind, disconnect from distractions, and reconnect to what matters in the stillness and beauty of the wilderness. Must be 21 years or older to rent. Open Parking lot for all 10 cabins on site. Please note that parking is not available directly in front of your cabin. Wagon is provided to assist with luggage. 4WD/AWD is recommended in all seasons. No WiFi available.

The cabin was modern and cozy. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the spa hot tub was wonderful. Definitely bring coffee for the pour over. The Keurig is tiny and leaks.The full window view from both the bedroom and living room are completely private, allowing you to only see trees. We will definitely stay here again.

I would certainly go back

We loved the property. It was quite and cabins were arranged really well which allowed for privacy. There were however several things that could be improved. Although there was nothing that would prevent me from renting the property again.

Birthday/Back to school get-away

We had a fantastic stay at the Boho Bungalow from July 30 to August 3. The home was spotlessly clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect retreat for our family.The location is excellent — peaceful and private, yet close to all the must-see spots in Hocking Hills. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub after long days of hiking — such a great feature!The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It’s clear they put a lot of care into both the home and the guest experience.We would definitely recommend the Boho Bungalow to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed getaway in a beautiful setting. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Overall good experience. The hot tub wasn’t clean and the temperature control didn’t work. The handle for the lid of the grill was missing nuts and it made it impossible to use the grill properly.

Relaxation Achieved!

This was a wonderful stay! We enjoyed the fact that there was not a TV. The house was beautiful and full of windows, so even though it was a cold rainy weekend we still felt like we were enjoying the scenery. The only con was the fact that you could not drive right up to the cabin. This left us making multiple trips to the car for checking in and checking out. The map that was provided was a little confusing on where you were allowed to drive and not drive and which cabin was ours. I think a little rope across the part where you needed to stop driving would have been super helpful. If you have mobility issues this would not be the best location to stay. You would want to choose the cabin right by the parking lot.

Nice place but getting there was a hassle!

The property itself was gorgeous!! We really enjoyed the ambiance of it. However, i was not pleased to find out that when we got the property that we had to walk a good distance to get there, especially with carting in groceries and our things for the weekend. We weren’t allowed to park next to our cabin bc of it would disrupt machinery along the way but it really wouldn’t have been a big deal since there was not really anything in the path of driving. The owner also did not really post that there was no Internet service or any television for that matter. That wouldn’t have bothered us had we’d been prepared and brought things to keep us occupied. Overall not a bad experience.

Our stay was very nice. It was very clean! Just a couple things to keep in mind that there is no Wi-Fi and no service I definitely would have a map or some kind of way to get around. (We both had Verizon)There are other cabins. This cabin was probably the most hidden or private, and everybody who stayed with those cabins was very nice. The drive to get up to the cabin is very steep and all stone so I would definitely recommend a car with four-wheel-drive!
