“Great location close to Kingfield but out on a back road for nice woods romps for the dogs. The kids loved the hot tub and game room. Very comfortable for our group of four adults and three kids.”

“If you haven't seen the movie On Golden Pond, you can watch it on YouTube. You'll know exactly what to expect for decor and ambience.This was an exceptional experience! Someone posted about the screen door slamming each time you closed it. My Great Grandparents door did the same, when I didn't control it. I felt like that excited little kid, each time I heard it. We rarely went inside. The screen porch was too peaceful. The loon sounds were mesmerizing. Don't be envious that you have less sun....

“A night light in the primary bathroom would be very helpful. We would love to visit again in 2025. When do reservations open for that season?”

“We went to New Vinyard to view the total eclipse. Chip and Kathy, our hosts were wonderful and warm. The house was perfect for the four of us. We rode around to other towns in the area, up the mountain, and across a famed wire bridge that bounces when you put on the brakes. Our nephew and three others came up to sit outside with us to view the eclipse. We all had an amazing time. The little village store was great for pizza and incidentals. “Overall this was a very nice place. I would not call it a 3 bedroom though. It is a 2 bedroom with lofts. One of the 2 lofts is large like a bedroom, but the ladders to the lofts are straight up and difficult to climb. As long as you know before booking, you can decide if this will be a problem for your family.”

“Where to start? We had early checkin arranged, yet the code did not work. We spent 1/2 hour outside in the cold on the phone with Vacasa trying to figure it out. Once in the house there was no water or no heat. Another call to the property manager, I had to locate the main shut off valve for the house water. Once we got the faucets to work, there was still no heat. The house temp was in the high 40’s/50’s. The no heat continued through the afternoon and into the next morning. It was fixed the...

“Cabin is wonderfully renovated with modern conveniences while fully embracing the "get away from it all" theme. Property was super clean and easy communication with in-town property manager. Fantastic master bedroom and perfect kitchen and sitting area for meals, table games and just disconnecting from it all. Dock with adirondack chairs was peaceful. Loon Lake is perfect by itself, but the supplied 2 kayaks made it even better. Owner is fantastic. Hope to return soon. 5 stars!!”
