Our room and the hotel ticked all our boxes. Only a heated swimming pool was missing. Loved how breakfast was included. And enjoyed our work-out in the well-equiped gym.

It was a quite and pleasant stay, only thing was the breakfast buffet, it would have been more choices and more hot food, most of the food were all out of stock.

The hotel itself was very nice, the staff was friendly and helpful, the neighborhood had an element of danger with lots of graffiti, bars on windows and doors, and garbage around the area.

Comfortable clean room, inbuilt tv chrome cast was a benefit, breakfast had a good selection of food which was topped up and fresh. No issues getting an on-street parking Fri/ Sat night

Room had a great view. Cleaned well except for under the bed, where I found a few strange things. There were no bottled water in the fridge had to buy bottled water or drink from the bathroom sink (glasses were provided). The complementary tea, coffee, sugar and milk were nice too. Breakfast was amazing! There is very little in terms of restaurants and pubs around the area. All seem closed and abandoned yet on Google it’s shows they are still open & operating. However if you drive a few minutes away you’ll find nice places to eat, enjoy a drink and dance. Staff at the hotel were very nice and friendly too.

The Bed/Mattress was very uncomfortable, when I moved the bed moved, I slept terribly, the pillows both firm and soft felt like extra soft. I’ve stayed at a few holiday inn and this was very disappointing for a new property to provide what seemed cheap beds for their guests.

First time staying at the Holiday Inn in Newcastle, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Rooms are clean and new. Breakfast was great and easy parking. Front desk staff, very friendly and helpful. Especially the lady on check out. Will stay again and recommend the hotel.

Extremely good.
The second time I have stayed at this hotel. Ideal for an overnight stay whilst on a road trip from Brisbane to Melbourne. All aspects of this hotel are extremely good. The breakfast is generous. Highly recommended.

Really excellent staff, hotel was clean, i liked their little 24/7 snacks for purchase area as an option. It’s not really needed though because there is a Cole’s 4 minutes away. It was my fault i didn’t read the hotel room description closely enough the washroom didn’t have a full door it’s in a glass room with 10 cm of space at the top of the door, that was the only drawback of the room for me. Area was very walkable to everything. Would recommend.
