The room was very neat and clean. The screened porch was great! We sat out there every night and enjoyed listening to the water. The only downside to the room was the hot water. It sometimes took a while to get hot water, and the water didn't get that hot and steamy. But, we got used to it pretty quick, and didn't really need a super hot shower anyway.
The "wildlife" was very entertaining. We watched the monkeys every afternoon. The crabs are everywhere! We would stand and try and spot as many as we could, then take a step to see how many scurried away. The lizards and birds were always around. The goats, sheep and donkeys just kind of wandered down the street without a care in the world.
The restaurant on site was just about perfect. Most tables had a good view of the ocean. We usually sat right in front for the best view. I can't say enough about the food. The portions were just about right. We tried to stick with the local food as much as possible, and weren't disappointed. The catch of the was wahoo (sp) pretty much every day. Grilled was best, but the blacked was great as well. My wife really liked the chicken roti for lunch.
Overall, the property was just perfect for us. Not real crowded. We don't need a wild night life or a bunch of
