Hotell nära Newcastle-upon-Tyne Theatre Royal

“Hotel is central to everything (shops, restaurants, theatre, bars etc) but hidden in a quiet street behind the theatre royal. The standard of rooms is excellent (lovely touches in each room makes you feel relaxed and cared for), we were also surprised at how quiet the rooms were. The breakfast was superb, with a wide range of quality food available. The staff are always well presented, friendly and approachable, helpful and knowledgable of both the hotel and the surrounding areas and events....

“We stayed for just one night visiting our son at Uni. The apartment was superb. Perfect as a comfortable base for going out and about. Despite the traffic in the area it was quiet. Bed was comfy so a good night’s sleep. Communication from the owner was excellent. Will definitely return. ”

“Would usually book a hotel as moving child to Newcastle Uni but due to home match and lots of other parents moving their kids in, hotels were thin on the ground! Picked the apartments and was pleasantly surprised. Ticked all the boxes and great to have a small kitchen. Had everything we needed. Only criticism would be a lack of bedside table/shelf and the sofa wasn’t the comfiest but it was all clean and functional. Will def recommend. ”

“Vid incheckning fick jag ett ostädat rum. Gammal mat stod kvar i rummet och handdukar överallt. Fick ett nytt rum, väggarna var smutsiga och ofräscha. Safety boxen gick inte att öppna. Berättade för personalen hur dåligt det var. Ingen kompensation. Tur det finns många andra hotell i Newcastle, jag bor inte här nästa gång..”
