Summary:
Just across the Phillip Island bridge in Newhaven across from the Marina you can find some peace and quiet at Moonlight Bay Suites.

Relax in the Spa overlooking the ocean while you let nature show you an recurring spectacle with the tides.

In the morning let the sun wake you up, and enjoy a coffee on the balcony. Go for a 5 min stroll to the bakery and have a shop at some of the local establisments.

The Space:
This space has been used as a former bed and breakfast and is set up with the guest experience in mind.

Enjoy this quiet part of the island and relax in your room being so close to the ocean. Every room comes with a balcony view and great outdoor seating to relax with coffee or tea in the morning.

The owner of the property has a Jewellery gallery behind the building open 4 days a week between 10am and 4 pm, with handmade jewelry for you to either admire her craft or for purchase.

This room is equipped with a large comfortable queen size bed with fresh linen. A large corner Spa overlooking the ocean with reflective windows for privacy.
A cable smart TV with optional Disney/Netflix/ Youtube on personal account and a DVD player in each room and it comes with a complimentary coffee using a pod machine and tea.
Microwave and Iron and Iron board are available in each room.
Plus dishes and cutlery.

This place will not disappoint and for the colder nights, we have split system heating in each room.

There is a large lobby, when you enter the building around the back that is shared with other potential guests.

The lobby features a large dining table and comfortable couches with a great view of the outside.
This place is great for couples to enjoy some peace and quiet and love to be close to nature.

There is Free parking either behind the building (2 Spots) or in front (2 spots), but will be clarified on confirmation of reservation.

The rooms are limited to two people maximum and no extra guests are allowed in the rooms.
* This space is not suitable for infants.
* No noise after 11 PM, and no more use of the SPA function after 11 pm due to potential noise for other guests.
* There is no smoking allowed at this facility.

The Neighborhood:
Newhaven features some great local cafes and are all in walking distance from the listing.
The marina is right in front of the building and either walking to the right brings you to the cafes, massage centre, bakery or dinner.
Walking to the left, brings you to a secluded beach access, or an amazing stroll through some amazing coast line.

Customer base is limited with access only via stairs, perfect view from all rooms, lovely to have a spa in all rooms. Communication with hosts was exceptional, cleanliness of carpet on arrival was not great, bathroom was clean, no sink to wash dishes had to use the hand basin in the bathroom. Tranquil and peaceful place to stay if you would like time out. Would definitely book again

FILTHY & NOT MAINTAINED! LOOK ELSEWHERE!
These are NOT suites as described, they're units/motel rooms and there's 4 of them all in ear shot of each other, the parking is a tiny paved area that barely fits 2 cars with no other clearly labeled parking. The lobby/communal area has a stale dank smell, probably from the water damage visible on the ceiling. Smoke alarm outside the door of each unit so if there's a fire in your room you'd know too late and if there's a fire in the lobby you're trapped in the room. There was no fire evacuation plan or extinguisher found anywhere. Was told the room I booked was damaged and was offered a change being told new room was bigger but no way to confirm. The room they changed us to hadn't been cleaned, there was thick cobwebs on the bathroom, bedroom/lounge and balcony walls, one of the glass pannels on the balcony was cracked. There was a shoe print with a squashed mosquito on the bathroom wall. The shower head was broken so water gushed out the back when we showered and there was thick soap scum build up in the shower. The carpets hadn't been vacuumed, there was a stain on the bed spread and fitted sheet. After requesting a new sheet I was expected to change the bed myself and made to feel like a liar by a rude young girl who I assume was the cleaner telling me there was no stain originally. The coffee machine pod catcher was full of used pods and when emptied had mould in it with 2 pods glued in the bottom by dried up coffee juice. The tea towel the cups, dishes and cutlery were laid out on had stains on it. There's no sink so you need to wash dishes in the bathroom sink. The split system filters were covered in a build up of thick dust. 4 of the lights and a bedside lamp in the room didn't work/were blown and 2 of the LED lights were flickering and another was slightly hanging out of the ceiling. The main bathroom light didn't work and the exhaust fan barely did anything so I assume was also broken. I took photos of everything and emailed who I assume was the caretaker/owner who gave me a very generic apology response stating they're not able to check every property before check in. I've requested a refund of some sort but I have no doubt I'll be given the run around after the lack of care exhibited so will definitely be looking at taking the matter further. This was my first time staying here and after the experience I've had I definitely will not be staying here again and there's no way I'd be recommending it to anyone!!
