39th St Beach House - Steps to Sand - Air-Conditioning, Bikes and beach gear!!

  • This downstairs unit is situated on the beach side of 39th Street. The house is a few hundred feet / easy walk to the beach (7 doors from the sand) and a 5 minute walk to amazing restaurants, a grocery store and the Newport Beach pier.

    Enjoy a true indoor-outdoor lifestyle with a 9 foot bi-fold door connecting the living room to the large tiled patio for outdoor living (over 200 square feet). The patio has a gas BBQ and plenty of seating.

    The gourmet kitchen is outfitted with all of the basics to cook a great meal for the family after a fun beach day. We provide some pantry basics including (salt & pepper, cooking oil, starter amount of coffee pods, etc..)

    Keep in mind the living room/dining/kitchen is small but you can open the bi-fold doors to the patio which helps give you more living space.

    All rooms have flat screen TV's and ceiling fans.

    The living room has a remote control gas fireplace and huge TV.

    The master bath incorporates a beautiful bathroom with large shower. The second bathroom has a beautiful coastal aesthetic ambiance with tub/shower.

    Washer/Dryer in garage for your use (free of charge).

    We provide beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, umbrella, coolers, wagon, pop up tent, sand toys, wetsuits and beach cruisers/bikes and more all at no charge.

    If you need even more room, rent the beautiful upstairs unit which consists of 4 Bedrooms, 3 bathrooms - Listing #2244419

    Renting both units would give you a total of 6 Bedrooms, 5 Bathrooms with 2 kitchens, along with the 2 car garage. Great for large family get togethers or families traveling together. Listing #2258451 (whole property / both units)

    Guest who books the house must be at least 28 years old and must be staying at the house (no booking for under age kids).

    Please note....this is a downstairs unit. It is possible to hear noise from the upstairs unit (depending on the guests at the time). If you are sensitive to noise, please rent an upstairs unit. Most vacation rentals in Newport are duplexes and most downstairs apartments do have some noise transfer.

We had a great stay at 39th street. The place was EXTREMELY clean and comfortable. Great location near beach and walkable to restaurants. We really appreciated the bikes, wet suits, surfboards and laundry. Nice to have parking as well.Host was responsive when we had questions. Definitely a great place to stay!

Great place and location.

We came for the Darker Waves Fest and had the best time. Liked the parking, location to stores and location to beach. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Beach House

The house was equipped with everything needed for a great beach experience! We had an excellent time. Our teens loved hanging out at the beach and riding their skateboards nearby, Laguna Beach shopping and the Newport Boardwalk were so much fun. Just a great stay all around.

First stay in Newport

Loved our short stay in Newport. Location and our accomodations were great. Some ussues with Uber both cost and availability to get around and next time will definitly rent a vehicle.

Awesome Property, Awesome Location

Love love love this place. Very nicely appointed and polished property. Location is very walkable and bikeable -- steps to the beach and bike path which leads to the pier and other local spots & restaurants. Great host as well who is very responsive and supportive! Overall a very nice stay.

Great beach spot

Even in a torrential downpour... we had a lovely stay here. We escaped during breaks in the rain for lovey beach walks with incredible sunsets--and as always, the location cannot be beat! Also, props to a fantastic shower with great water pressure!

Great Beach Escape

Such a fun spot just a short walk from the beach. Very clean and well-kept with thoughtful additions like coffee for the first morning. The patio was lovely for soaking up some sun, even in December. The location made it easy to get to the beach early and often and there were plenty of bikes for all shapes/sizes. Owners were very helpful.

We normally stay in the upper unit but this year, there were only 5 of us, so we rented the downstairs unit. It didn’t disappoint. Loved the 6 house walk to the beach. Also enjoyed the use of the big patio, the grill, the garage and the bikes. We’ll be back.

Incredible place!

We had the most amazing vacation at this property and would highly recommend it. The place was spotless and super clean, which I feel is rare these days with rental properties. The beach is close by and there are restaurants within walking distance. Lisa the property manager was really friendly and accommodating. It was a 5 star experience overall

Great Beach location!

This was a great rental unit! I stayed for a short term weekend visit… it is super close to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants on the balboa peninsula are easily accessible! Lisa the host was super responsive and easy to work with! My friends and family and I had a great time! The unit was super clean and had lots of recreational use items!

Amazing Beach House

We’ve stayed at many properties in this area and this house was one of our favorites for our family of 5. Great location, comfortable beds, lots of linens and towels, laundry, A/C, beach supplies, stocked kitchen. Hot water and good shower heads which is a must for a beach vacation. It had everything we would have wanted in a vacation rental. The contact person was very helpful and quick to communicate. 10/10 Highly recommend this rental!
