“Location on Oak St was perfect. Close to restaurants, the beach, shops. It was nice to have 3 bathrooms. Dishwasher was not working so I let the owner know so she could get it repaired. There were beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels, making our beach days easy.”

“We were unable to check in at first as the electronic lock was not working. It was 1am so we wouldn’t have been able to communicate with the owner. When telling the owner, she seemed unsurprised and blamed it on the battery. The sinks were clogged in the bathroom. The appliances were still wet and not cleaned from the previous guests. The mattresses were also hard as a rock.”

The owner (who lives on site) texted and asked how many people were staying. We told him 5 and he said we would have to pay an additional 25/day for the “extra” person.The listing never stated that they charged per guest. “Overall, the house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the showers had great water pressure, and the kitchen with its appliances worked out wonderfully for our group. It served as a decent home base for the wedding weekend we were in town attending. However, there were several practical and security issues that negatively impacted our stay. The back door leading into the sunroom is a thin door with windows that do not lock, leaving the back of the house with essentially no security. *...

“This rental is just one block from the PCH and is centrally located in one of the best areas of Laguna Beach in my opinion. The unit was as described and pictured. The courtyard area is private and very nice if you want to sit outside to read or hang out. The rental is on the smaller side but it's Laguna Beach. Who's spending their time inside? Overall this property had what we needed and worked perfectly for our trip.”
