âReally lovely staff and the check in experience was very pleasant. The room was just about acceptable in terms of cleanliness but the toilet was not clean and still had used paper in it. The room and the surroundings were very tired and beyond worn in some places, especially the carpet on the stairs which was very dirty. As there was no breakfast, we could not comment on it. Itâs such a shame because the setting is quite pleasant and it could be a lovely place to visit. â
âThe room was small and cozy, which was perfect for my short solo trip. It's walking distance to the train station, a supermarket, and several shops, pubs and restaurants. Only weirdness was having to check in and get room keys at the pub a couple doors down. This wasn't mentioned beforehand, but luckily the pharmacist nearby guided me in the right direction! â
âI know that there is limitations in service during COVID but this was ridiculous.
The breakfast service was very poor, the request for 2 toasts and 2 frieds eggs was not possible to meet from from Hotel.
On the other hand was the dinner service on the terrace very nice and good service.

âHired a twin room for the night whilst staying with my daughter after a previous bad experience at a different hotel. The room was clean, the TV worked and the pressure in the shower was nice to me. Stopped for a beer in the pub (noise from which was not heard in the room) and the ladies working were polite and helpful. I felt I received good value for money, I would happily return and would be glad to recommend to othersâ
