“The team at Big Game was amazing! We booked because we really wanted to do a safari and that was amazing but we were blown away be everything else! The food was above and beyond what I expected with 4 courses for dinner, 3 at lunch , and a very full breakfast. They list breakfast as continental but it's much more than that. The first tent we were in was fine but we upgraded part way through and really appreciated the extra space! ”

“This place is amazing. It was the first place we stayed in in Sri Lanka and we were really pleasantly surprised. Check-in was quick, the staff were really friendly, the room was clean and spacious, the air-conditioning worked very well, the pool was lovely with a gorgeous view, the bathroom was well equipped, and the kottu roti that we had for dinner was delicious. “Not as nice as advertised. Poor food quality, no alcohol service (the ”amazing wine tasting” I saw someone post about was clearly fake, as they don’t have a license). There is only one restaurant and it is filled with flies, and the food isn’t very good. The only okay thing was the actual room. Newly renovated and pretty clean. “The pictures are deceiving. Positive thing is that the room is spacious and AC is fantastic. Everything else is something to criticize on. I.e a ton of mosquitos, washroom is full of stains, the doors to the bathroom doesn’t close properly making mosquitos to fly into the room through the bathroom. The bed had mattress cover but no blankets whatsoever and had to explicitly request one, which showed up as if a few cats picked a fight in it. ”
