“A spectacular stay from start to finish. The location is beautiful, the staff incredibly kind and attentive, and the ambiance truly special. The rooms were comfortable and serene, and both dinner and breakfast were absolutely incredible. The baths were spotless and very relaxing. 100% recommend staying here.”

“Spititual and interesring trip where we learned a lot about the specific Kukai buddhist religion, went on the cementary night tour and visited a lot of the temples. We joined the morning and afternoon meditations and everything was great - only the western turists were being unpolite and disrespectful in these ceremonies. The munks who are in charge of the whole hotel are really nice and helpful. Food was delicious! ”

“Absolutely a superb experience here. The room was stunning and the food top notch. There is clearly so much care and attention here. It was lovely to be able to attend the morning ceremony as well. Highly recommend it. I'll be coming back for sure.”

“From the time that we were welcomed by Teo to to the grace of having my oversized goshuincho signed before departure, the serene and uplifting atmosphere of the monastery was a balm. The meals were delicious, the tour was informative and reverent, and the temple complex across the road was a joy. Our rooms was elegant and simple. 10/10. ”
