“The place is gorgeous a bit tighter than expected but we’re a big family so that’s on us. But the lake was comforting in a time when we were looking for something to help us relax. I was very happy with how communicative the landlord was. House has a ton of towels and all the appliances you could need. Saw a few deer in the mornings. Would absolutely stay again in the future. If you’re on the fence, don’t be afraid, it’s a great place to allow yourself some peace.”

We wanted a location in Midtown that was safe and had off-street parking, which this guesthouse was perfect for. The parking is gated, and the owner supplies you with a clicker and gate code. “The hallway smelled of weed, the bathroom door would not close, there were cockroaches everywhere, the mini fridge would not close because of a build up of ice. It was an older hotel and it has not been updated or maintained. It was disgusting.”
