“I stayed at this rental with my husband and kids, and overall the property is great. It’s an easy drive to all things Acadia but is not overpriced and overcrowded like the Bar Harbor area. “This was the perfect location and the host was responsive and helpful. My only complaint is that the bed is terribly uncomfortable and even after tightening the frame it squeaks with the littlest movement. My husband actually went to sleep on the hide-a-bed towards the end of the stay (we went out and purchased a mattress pad to make it more comfortable) because the bed hurt his back so much. The location is terrific, a short walk from the center of town and tons of bars, restaurants, and the Island Explorer. The condo is equipped with top notch accessories - towels, sheets, the bed, etc. - and an amazing TV?Surround sound system! I highly recommend!”

“We stayed in apartment 16 and found it roomy and comfortable for the 3 of us. Great proximity to Mt Desert Island and lobster! I was concerned about being close to the airstrip, but it wasn't loud. People staying upstairs were courteous, but you definitely wake up whenever they start walking around upstairs. We enjoyed the hotub, fire pit with cute s'mores kits and snacks. So glad to have laundry available after all that hiking and biking!”

We liked being together wish we could have spent more time together but kids have jobs and pets to get back to.
