“Although the desk clerk was pleasant enough, the overall hotel experience was not as expected. It very much needs updating and cleaning . The hallway carpet was torn and stained. The sofa in our room was lopsided due to a broken leg (I reported it to the hotel and the clerk already knew about it). The free breakfast looked good, but there were only 3 tables the next morning. “The room smelled moldy, dewy, musky. It was a horrific smell. Good thing it didn’t rain. We had to only sleep in the room and it was hard enough to sleep in the room because of the smell.
