“I loved this hotel by the Mississippi River. Room was a delight, chose bluff side. Some complain about train noise, only heard one during stay. Breakfast I’d rate as excellent with many choices including fried eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles and assorted breads. Only downside was limited parking but we always managed a spot. Overall, very good.”
“Unfortunately after checking in, discovered a bed bug and contacted Expedia for refund as there was no way we were staying there. The front office was already closed and Expedia hasn’t been able to get ahold of the hotel to get my money refunded. It’s been almost a week and no update on status. I wanted to support since it’s a veteran owned business but service response has been terrible and the cleanliness was less than desired.”
“We really liked our small little cabin. Hot tub was a definite bonus. The only thing I didn't love was the crowdedness of the sleeping area. Which I knew it would not be very big because of the small cabin itself, but it just seemed complicated to navigate. Of course we're not very young either.”
“This property was outstanding in every way. Location to the downtown was an easy walk with a grocery store only two blocks away. The home was very clean and inviting both inside and out. King beds in every bedroom were comfortable and had lots of pillows along with fresh linens and towels. Quiet and relaxing made for the perfect stay.”
