“Sadly, our stay at the Wingate in Gillette was not great. It started off with Room Key access issues (understandable), but that culminated in us being given a master (!) key, which opened every room. Very large safety (and liability) issue.
We never had shampoo, although we asked for it, and our room was never serviced. We found out they only usually service rooms on the weekends (catering to local workforce), but that was only spelled out when we asked. Even then, we were never given extra...
“During my recent trip we stayed in 10 different hotels and I must say this hotel was worst. Even room was marked as non smoking but whole gallery was stinking like someone has smoked outside. We checked in late in the night and were so tiered that even bed was stinking and had no option than sleeping. Breakfast had minimal things, they packed cereal in small ziplock bags, large cream cheese and jam bottle which I have never seen before. I would not recommend this place to anyone.”
“This was in a great location and spotless clean. Another thing that was great is that there is a small restaurant/bar practically next door. Downtown Buffalo is literally one block away. We could walk to all the downtown shops and restaurants. The beautiful Buffalo Greenway walking path is right there. One morning I went west about teo miles on the pathway which runs next to Clear Creek. I loved the location. The bed and pillows were ultra comfortable.”
“This was a perfect place for us to stay. We always utilize kitchens when we travel and being on a month long trip the W & D was a great amenity to prevent sitting in a laundry mat. The unit was clean, comfortable, roomy and did not disappoint. Just off Main Street but still very quiet and relaxing. “This is a wonderful location within blocks of dining and entertainment…and to explore downtown Sheridan. It is funky cool,. My wife observed a lot of dust buildup on the bedroom ceiling fan. The instructional on the wall, a computerized sort of framed picture never worked. Since it was cold when we stayed, we had to sort of figure out the heating on our own, which wasn’t much of a problem. It is an excellent value for the money and we would stay there again.
