“We wanted to relax and this cottage was perfect. The beach is 30 seconds walk, the view is breathtaking. We relaxed, played games, read, talked around the open fire, swam, walked and just chilled. No tv, no screens (although there is Wi-Fi), we detached from the phones and iPads and let our brains breathe. Will be booking again for next year or maybe even during winter. Tony and John were so helpful yet respectful of our privacy. Can not fault the cottage or the area. Loved every minute.”

“3 Freundinnen verbrachten eine Woche in diesem Cottage. Wir waren jeden Tag, hauptsächlich zum wandern, unterwegs und haben Abends den gemütlichen Kamin genossen. Als uns das bereitgestellte Holz zur Neige ging, reichte eine Nachricht an die Housekeeperin und sie hat direkt am nächsten Tag Nachschub aus dem Lager geholt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Wahl des Hauses und Donegal im allgemeinen. Sehr schöne Ausflüge in der Umgebung sind möglich und dabei sehr abwechslungsreich! Mit dem Wetter...

“His was our final home in our journey and it was perfect! The house was lovely and we had everything we could need. You are in a remote spot which is what we wanted. Took a morning hike to Mel’s coffee truck with a view of the Gap.”

“We took the house on as a family holiday first one in 3 years. This was a fabulous venue. The house sits in a rise on the inlet. It has a stunning summer house built on stilts with balcony, seating, bar-b-q. The house has great wifi as well as a proper working TV channels including access to Netflicks.There are two pubs nearby and a couple of great take aways as well. The house was fully equipped with books, games to entertain. The house itself was brilliant ensuite rooms l, comfortable...

“This roomy cottage is just perfect for a getaway at the edge of the world and can comfortably accommodate a large family or a couple of couples and kids. Your hosts Pauline and Hugh are marvellous and are happy to help with suggestions on nearby attractions and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking with towering mountains right next to a proper surf beach. The local sheep make it all so idyllic. We’ll be back soon.”

“Beautiful location overlooking Lough Swillly. Golf course and beach are 2 minutes away. Loved staying at the house with great facilities and really comfortable beds. Liam is a very accommodating host, always available and checking that we had all that we needed. Highly recommended!”

“Cream cottage is comfortable and equipped with everything required for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, in a beautiful area, with a wonderful view of Knocknashee- the Hill of the Faeries. We were able to visit so many places during our stay. So much to see and do throughout the county, whatever you’d interest. Returning to the cottage each evening was lovely, sara was very responsive to any queries before and during our stay. ”
