“Great room! Good breakfast!”

“Never again! No comfortable chair in room, only one straight backed kitchen chair. No coffee in room, available only 6--9 am. Paint was peeling from the base of the shower, showing the under base, no way to be sure it was clean. Turn the light off...we are done!! Worst stop on a four-day trip!”

“My stay was very brief, however everything, from the comfortable bed, and clean room, to the breakfast before leaving was wonderful. I also appreciated that they are pet friendly!”

“This lovely B&B is a historic place. The people who works here are really friendly and will help you in every way they can. This B&B is like a living in a museum from the 1870's or stepping in to a episode of the TV show 'Downton Abbey'. I can highly recomend a staying here!”

“This is our third stay here. We work alot in this area alot.. We love it here its not in a congested spot very quiet and out of the way a bit ,but still have direct access to the highway. Always friendly service, hot showers, and comfortable beds. Everything seems to be new. I think they went through renovations. We will be coming back! Never have had an issue here. ”

“A clean, quiet, nicely appointed home near great restaurants, shops, and pubs. We came to the area for a show at the Castle Theater and we enjoyed the opportunity to extend our stay to explore Bloomington a bit. ”

“We had a great stay! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which added an extra charm. The accommodations were very comfortable. There were a couple of things we found that needed to be updated from the current listing. The most important is that the stairs down to the basement are now located within the main house.
