“Our family of five spent five nights at Compass 10 over the Easter holidays. Communication with the Manager from booking was efficient and timely. Check in and out was super easy, we were met at the airport with our buggy on arrival. “This is the prototype property that I want for all my stays. Perfect bedroom and bathroom for personal comfort. Bathroom was spacious and away from the toilet. Next to that were 2 full size Washer & Dryer appliances. At the front of the house was a Great Room that contained the Kitchen, Eating area and Family room. Fairly large yard outside that had the gas BBQ and eating area. Very close to shopping, Chevron Island (walking distance), Surfers Paradise (the beach), Sea World, Observation Tower....

“Catch the breeze was a beautiful, stylishly furnished unit, perfect for our needs. The bedrooms were spacious and the outdoor pool area was brilliant. Loved the day bed. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and little extras like salt, tea, coffee, sugar, oil spray etc.. The beds and linen were high quality. Check in was easy and communication was great. “While we were more than happy with the spacious living area and bedrooms and the glorious view, there were a couple areas that attention. The bathroom could use an upgrade, and the shower has a step up into it that felt a bit unsafe with wet feet. We thought the deck surface could have been a bit cleaner, the bird droppings had been there for some time and it made it a bit unpleasant in bare feet. We found some of the glassware not clean in the cupboard, as if they were put away with unclean...

Only issues which was communicated is as follows: One of the family room lounges needs some upholstery work due to the cushioning being heavily worn. “Kevin the property manager is very friendly and helpful. The villa is a bit old, though Kevin did excuse at check-in for the run down floor and was helpful when the sink clogged. Palm Cove is a beautiful place to stay. ”

“Due to a VRBO host cancelling our booking (after we had arrived!) we had to scramble to find last minute accommodation, however there didn't appear to be accommodation left, especially at 5pm the afternoon. We managed to get a booking with Toowong Villas and they were excellent. They were understanding and ensured we got the right accommodation and were attentive to our predicament. This is why I gave them a 5 star rating and would definitely recommend them. ”
