“I required a quiet, private place within walking distance of the park adjacent to the lake for an Ironman event. I needed to sleep early and sleep well. This property more than met my needs. No, it’s not new. Yes, paint is peeling on the exterior. I’ve stayed in 5* hotels in Asia. They have meticulous standards BUT you can also have noisy rooms nearby and not the privacy that allows one to dress down or in athletic wear. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. You can tell the owners have put a lot of thought into every detail. The house is beautiful inside and out. We brought our kayak and paddled along the quiet water. Definitely recommend this place for 2-3 people.”
