“We stayed at the Avanti house for the second time, first time being years ago, and it was yet again a great experience. Room was clean, guests were respectful, and parking was easy as its right out front on street (parallel parking). We liked the room we stayed in this past time better than the one we originally stayed in just for the bit of extra space, but both rooms we have stayed in were great. They have quiet hours from 10pm through morning, and while we were coming in very late each night,...

“Main reason for the 4 stars is the non-functioning Mini-Split style Air-Conditioning units. The host/property management had installed two window A/C units, so we give them credit for that and that there was A/C in the unit. However these are simply obnoxious in noise and (strong) blowing cold air. Unit was clean and bright, nicely accommodated. Parking may seem inconvenient based on the information provided, but in reality wasn't an issue at all (always available street parking in close...

“outdoor stairs were a fun adventure for us with a snow storm, but we made it. We really enjoyed the front porch and heater in there while resting and reading. ”

“The room situated on the bottom floor was more like a converted closet. The room had a water heater in it behind a curtain that served the whole house. The walls and ceiling were not sealed on one side above the bed... around the light fixture, pipes going through walls... Only thing going for it was that it was clean.”

“We were so happy with the property, the perfect getaway with our pup. The back deck was great for an evening glass of wine and we were surprised to see two pairs of swans gliding along the lake our first night there. Our pup had fun chasing the boat waves while we relaxed on the shoreline. Close to so many great dog friendly places. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future!”

“Great property and getaway! It was nice being in St Joe all day but then coming back to a beautiful, quiet countryside was so relaxing. Our kids loved the yard and the freedom to explore!”
