“This is a very outdated hotel. It was relatively clean and the front staff was helpful. I would like to make one suggestion. We went to breakfast a little late and we were eating our breakfast and just about to go up and get seconds when one of the staff dumped all the food at exactly 10 AM. They had just filled it with new stuff five minutes earlier. I think it would be helpful to wait until the last people are gone. Or at least wait an extra five or 10 minutes.”
“There is plenty of parking right in front of the building. Checking in was easy—you get the physical key from a lockbox using a 4-digit code. The place was pristinely clean.
The lake view was beautiful, and you can enjoy it from the chairs right by the door, or from inside.
My wife and I used the kayaks to explore Fox Lake, and it was a lot of fun. Even though it was my first time, it was easy to maneuver through the still water. Life jackets are conveniently kept in the brown box.
