“The reason i reserved 2 nights with 2 rooms was because my daughter was getting married and we had her bachelorette party there and the plan was to also have the bridal party get ready together. Plans didn’t work out so well because the 2 rooms were not side by side. They were 3 floors apart from each other and despite my explaining the need for having the rooms close together apparently nothing could be done. Needless to say, i was a bit upset but i suppose that is my fault for a later check in...
“We had a comfortable stay at the Furness Mansion. Very close to Indiana Dunes National Park and also nearby points of interest. The unit is spacious with free use of washer & dryer located at the entrance of the building. The only thing negative is the response time from the hosts. I sent a couple of messages and never received a response. My inquiries were not critical but a simple response would have been nice as a courtesy.”
“There is plenty of parking right in front of the building. Checking in was easy—you get the physical key from a lockbox using a 4-digit code. The place was pristinely clean.
The lake view was beautiful, and you can enjoy it from the chairs right by the door, or from inside.
My wife and I used the kayaks to explore Fox Lake, and it was a lot of fun. Even though it was my first time, it was easy to maneuver through the still water. Life jackets are conveniently kept in the brown box.

“The room seemed nice. The bathrpom door would not close or lock. Parts of the property are dilapidated. Put us next to the elevators which we xould hear.”
“Although the property was convienent for my travel, the overall property cleanliness was lacking and the check-in agent was working on other things while I was standing at the counter for check-in. Also, the breakfast area was terrible and the selection looked like it was attacked by a large group and this was at 7am!”
