“My husband and I stayed at this accommodation for 4 nights and had such a pleasant experience. The entire apartment was clean and comfortable, and we loved having access to a kitchen, tub and washing machine after staying in smaller hotels over the course of our trip in Japan. The neighbourhood was very calm and peaceful, yet still walking distance to convenience stores and some amazing restaurants. We didn’t have enough time to use the bikes but were very happy to have had them as an option for...

“Just a really great, multi-room holiday apartment to use as a bad for exploring Kyoto, the tram to the temples to the west is just outside the door and trains to the temples to the East are an easy walk away. The only slight issue in the immediate area was that many of the restaurants are tiny and it was sometimes hard to get a table. Supermarkets also near and cooking facilities in the apartment give flexibility. Beds a little hard but otherwise was very comfortable here!”

“Exceptionnel”

“Loved the property and the area.”

“Very spacious for a family of four with two teenagers. The kids wished we could have stayed in this house longer. Definitely a unique experience - different from the typical hotel/apart-hotel stays. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood - no hustle and bustle of tourists or foot traffic. The place had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, though we did not have to cook during our stay. There are a couple of convenience stores nearby so you can buy water, etc. Also easily...

“Beautiful stay…pictures don’t do it justice. The place is absolutely amazing and close to all cool spots!”

“Temples super close bars close ”

“Amazing location and property. Super helpful hosts.”

“Loved our stay! The room was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great, with shops and food close by. Everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. Would happily stay again. 10/10!”

“Fantastisk plats. Fina rum och så hjälpsam personal. Rekommenderas!”

“Hideo and Yuka were wonderful hosts. Hideo is a great guide and very easy to talk to. The authentic Thatch home was both beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed having coffee every morning while looking out the large windows at the cherry blossum trees. Very nice location away from all the people in Kyoto. Easy 1hr bus ride into Kyoto city. They have a friendly Golden Retriever and a French Bulldog to play with if you like dogs! The Fishmarket excursion was fun and unique with Hideo helping select...
