“Love it! Great place to stay in Kyoto”

“Ein typisches altes japanisches Haus mit tollem Flair. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, täglich frisches Wasser und Handtücher. Wir haben uns zu sechst sehr wohl gefühlt, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat auch sehr gut geklappt. Die Strasse war beim ersten Mal nicht ganz einfach zu finden, auch der Taxifahrer hat sich schwer getan. Ich kann die Unterkunft für eine größere Gruppe/ Familie aber nur weiterempfehlen! ”

“Wonderful place to stay, we loved that the area was in a real neighborhood and not touristy. The only complaint is the main bedroom faces a an alley that has a motion activated light that shines bright on and off all night while you are trying to sleep. Dark shade would help this situation. ”

“Highly recommend this place to stay in Kyoto, so close to Gion, wonderful restaurants, and transport. The accommodation is so spacious, well equipped, clean and has a wonderful feel with an amazing wooden bath. Special thanks to Yui who works the front desk and the Cafe. She was wonderful, so friendly, helpful and welcoming to us. It's an amazing place and we would definitely return next time. ”

“Great place to stay if you want to experience local style living in a very central area of Kyoto. Comfortable property with great amenities. The only issue we experienced was some difficulty accessing the unit with the access code provided and related support only available within business hours and only through the Line communication app. Overall highly recommended accomodation for an authentic and relaxing stay in Kyoto.”

“This stay was absolutely wonderful, and the host was extremely attentive and understanding. The entire house is very well kept, and everything is in great condition. The bedroom and linens were very comfortable, and the large window in the room let's you wake up to a nice natural light (or block it out entirely if that's your thing). We arrived a bit later than expected, and that wasn't an issue. We were given a full tour of the house and amenities along with instructions on how everything...

“The original booking was double booked by mistake. Thankfully, the property owner upgraded us to a newer and larger place in the heart of the district we hoped to explore. She was extremely kind and answered all of our questions immediately. Wonderful home and host with whom I would highly recommend and hope to stay here again in the near future.”
