“Had a fantastic weekend here. We love Oscoda and this is a beautiful spot right on Lake Huron. The manager Chad was very helpful and a super nice guy. Keep in mind before booking this place doesn’t have certain amenities like towels, soap or shampoo and garbage bags. It does have appliances, silverware, dishware, and an outdoor grill. They’re in the process of updating it so right now so many things are pretty rough around the edges, especially the interior of the cabins. We wouldn’t hesitate to...

“We loved staying in an iconic mushroom house (smallest one I think) and the house is surprisingly spacious. The design of the “Half House” is well-organized inside, you just feel like an oversized person in a hobbit house in the most adorable way (yes, ceiling height was great!). The fireplace was our favorite feature. Our host was kind and gracious, all amenities were supplied and we just loved it here. ”

“Location is convenient, house adorable, furniture is a big denim hug. Cozy if its chilly at night - great deck area to get a nice tan. Bed is super comfy with a great view of water. And our favorite- a shower wand! Keurig handy as well. We ordered pizza up the road and had breakfast at Cafe 106. Played pickleball near water plant -nice courts. ”

“We stayed here the weekend of a large event at the fairgrounds. Plenty of room for Trailers. We had two trucks with two car trailers! Was nice to have a quiet place to come back to after a few busy days!”

“First of all, the house is spectacular! It’s well appointed, comfortable, clean, and would be great for larger groups, too. It couldn’t have been any better for location, a block from the beach, short, walk to downtown, easy drive to great restaurants and wineries.The large patio in the back right on the river was a perfect place to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine.We will definitely be coming back to this lovely little spot.”

“This was a spot as close as possible to a very good fishing spot. The accommodations were very clean and very comfortable for two married men used to the creature comforts. Beds were comfy, the enclosed back porch was awesome. We had all we needed, and more! I will book it again, when the time is right!!”

“The property was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was extremely clean and functional. The weather did not cooperate during our 4 night stay; it was either cold, rainy, windy or all three combined. However, we were able to get in 2 bike rides on the nearby Hart-Montague trail and explore the nearby towns. And because the cottage was so pleasant, we also were able to enjoy the quiet and peacefulness of the property during the less than desirable weather. ”

“Overall was a perfect place to stay for our short stay. Lake is beautiful & peaceful, no noise & very little traffic. Tried to do some fishing, but lake is very weedy and didn't have any luck after trying many different spots on lake. The Roku was frustrating to use since we weren't familiar; wished we could have gotten local channels for the news/weather. But all that was all minor. We really enjoyed our home away from home.”
