It is a short walk to many restaurants but there were a lot of vagrants along the way and we did not feel safe. The city of Buffalo can do a better job of supporting such wonderful establishments. ”

“Adorable bed and breakfast in a great location. An old squeaky house but did feel clean. Bathrooms are nothing to write home about and the furniture is pretty basic. The manager (Matt) is very friendly and helpful although he works at both properties so you won’t see him much. Breakfast was fantastic and overall happy with our stay. ”

“Felt like a living museum! It was very cool to experience a stay similar to how it would’ve been way back when… The house is full of unique surprises and authentic decor. The hostess is wonderful and considerate. The outdoor porch is a nice cozy place to read a book, have some tea, or just enjoy the breeze. The room rates are great for all that you get. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone, but especially those that are fascinated with history.”

“The casino is definitely in walking distance IF you feel safe walking down an unlit alley. The area is sketchy to say the least but the property was ok. This is a historic home for sure and not modern by any means but we loved it!”

“Much of the typical Lake George activities were closed since we visited during April, but we were very happy to stay here and will definitely return! It was the perfect space for us two (with extra to fit an additional friend or 2). Owner provided towels, pans, grill, coffee, etc for the stay which is greatly appreciated. It was close distance to anywhere we needed to go for groceries, activities, stores! Sad to go but I look forward to future travels here :)”
