"The facilities were great, the free ice cream, the matcha latte. The staff are so attentive and kind, even with my rusty, broken Japanese they were very patient. And when I didn't understand they either used English or took out a translation app when their English couldn't quite bridge the gap. The onsen is large and the pools are so nice, as well as the sauna... Which had a TV (something which i never thought I'd see). Honestly though, I could do without a TV in my sauna. Sauna is for quiet."

"Had good views from the 33rd floor but the room was so small that looking out the window was quite difficult because of the bed blocking the whole wall. But a very nice hotel considering the price. Did not try any services but checkin and luggage handling post-checkout worked nicely with friendly staff."

"We had a fantastic stay at Namba Oriental Hotel! The value for money was outstanding. The location is absolutely perfect – right in the heart of Namba. As soon as you step outside the hotel, you’re surrounded by restaurants, shopping, convenience stores, and everything you could possibly need. The rooms were clean, modern, and very well maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and the entire hotel felt fresh and welcoming. One of the biggest highlights was the complimentary guest lounge, where coffee, soft drinks, snacks, and light refreshments were available from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It was such a thoughtful touch and something our family really appreciated after a long day of sightseeing. Another great benefit was the free laundry facilities, which were clean, modern, and very convenient for families or anyone staying several nights. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka. It exceeded our expectations in every way."

"This is a huge hotel with lots of guests (a bit unpersonal). Several restaurants with ok/good breakfast. Good location in terms of closeness to railway station. Would have preferred to live more in city center if I had known better of the city."
