“This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. “This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a cooktop as well as the basics you need to make meals if you choose to cook. The washer and dryer were very convenient. “The view is breathtaking, nice village with nice restaurents and mini market, all sites to see are about 15 to 30 min drive. Its way better to stay there than any luxury hotels around. ”

“The house was located so close to town so it was easy to get to dining and shopping. Some excursions were a little drive but would have been for the local resorts also. I wish we had taken an opportunity to eat at the host house, sounded like everything was delicious there, but we didn’t have the time. We loved walking the property every night to hunt for frogs!”
