“Very clean and friendly staff. We would highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed for one night on the start of a motorcycle tour in Spain and Portugal. Breakfast was included and was very welcome. We arrived quite late as we had problems getting off the ferry at santander. The staff left our room key in a safe lock and sent us a message. That took the pressure off us getting to the accommodation before reception closed. We will definitely come back again. Thank you for a pleasant stay.”

“As a stop on a father son Camiño Ingles, I was concerned about the location as it would require a taxi to go there and back. I didn’t need to worry. The taxi ride from Cafe Avelina was easy and the location was heavenly. The feel of the building, the family-like friendliness of the staff, and the excellent food. I have not even talking about the view overlooking a forest down onto a stream. This is where you want to stay. Highly recommended!!! This was exceptional!”

“If you like to fall asleep to people singing karaoke and slamming the doors. This is the accommodation for you. First of all it’s pretty hard to find since it looks more of an apartment building being changed into hotel rooms. Secondly, the room is quite small and the bed is not the most comfortable one. “The advertised view was a no-view in our room. In the evening of the second day of our 2 nights stay we were, due to cancellations, offered a room with a view for “just 20 Euro more”. The view pictures in the adverisment don’t give the right impression. There is certainly a view from the breakfast room but is quite a distance from the sea. Very colourful rooms - probably liked by teenagers. Dog and cats in breakfast room and nearby social room - OK If you like pets.”
