“The lodge is a wonderful place to get away to birch trees and smell off clean pine air. Our lake view was amazing. The leaves were just beginning to show the onset of fall with few hues of red and orange. We took many walks around the property enjoying the woods and lake. The resort was quiet but people hanging out at the beach or fisherman taking their boats early in the morning. The pool and spa were used a few times. It should open early. The kitchen and dining were stocked to meet our needs....

“This home is fabulous, we had a wonderful time there. The interior and exterior are beautiful, perfectly fitting into the Door County woods. Our family of 9 included grandparents, parents, children and also 2 dogs. We could all be together enjoying popcorn and a movie by the fireplace with plenty of room for everyone. The same was also true for eating meals together at the dining room table, we all had a place to sit. If we didn’t want to be with everyone else, there were many other rooms to...

“The property is beautiful. Lots of outdoor places to sit and relax. The inside is spacious. Beds are comfortable. Everything was clean. Fully equipped kitchen and a large gas grill on the deck. The property is on a corner so you have access to Eagle Lake and also access to the channel leading to Catfish lake. Very nice sunsets. You will not be disappointed with your stay here.”

“There are not enough adjectives to describe how wonderful this Lodge is. Everything you need for an incredible time is provided. The kitchen is well stocked with high quality pots and pans, cooking utensils, serving dishes and platters. There is even a large griddle for pancakes. There is plenty of room to spread out and also gather. The views are on all sides. No matter where you look there is lake view. Three docks are great for fishing. The basement game room is a perfect place for the kids...

“Spent four days in Minocqua at the Knotty Barrel Lodge. I have been spending summers in Minocqua for 30 years, there is nothing like this place. Perfect location, walking distance to town, easy for boat rental. There is a great supper club downstairs with a friendly staff (btw: noise from the restaurant is not an issue at all)The property is clean and so unique.
