“House Mountain Retreat offered us the space to unwind, relax, and prepare for the next part of our trip. The indoor area is nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable. The best part, however, is the screen porch and the views of the birds, animals, mountain, and sky. Wonderful!!”

“My family stopped In for the night on our way home to Ohio from Florida. The location was perfect, just being 10 min from the highway. The house is so charming! The house could use a spring cleaning and the patio furniture needs a good scrubbing but I would defiantly stay at the home again ”

“Pros-the inside of the house was nice, boat dock was great to have, and the lake view was amazing. If there is an issue, the property manager was amazing! Cons-the wifi or even cell service is next to nothing, which also means there is limited tv/streaming. The deck attached to the house was real dirty. Couldn’t sit on the cushions-they were so dirty. There is also not an ice maker in the house-just ice trays.”

“We were in Knoxville to be with family and Urban Island was fantastic. You will understand the name of the house when you arrive bc it really is on an island of land! Very nice house with everything you could need. We had a dog we lost a few days before our arrival and the owner’s brought flowers and a dog toy for our other dog. Was really very nice of them! We will definitely be back!”
