“We had an absolutely wonderful time at this log cabin! It was exactly as described, sparkling clean, and incredibly comfortable. It is a beautiful property. We loved sitting on the porch, dipping in the waterfall, and just generally relaxing. It is a short drive to wilmington and west dover, and there is an access point to the lovely valley trail right across the street. It was the perfect place for a summer getaway. “We had a great time golfing, hiking and exploring the Wilmington shops and restaurants. The house has lots of charm but is on the older side. Some cosmetic updates have been made such as new beds(very comfortable), great heating and A/C, new deck to enjoy the outside and fresh paint and modern decor inside. The bathrooms could use update and repair. Large groups should confirm that all bathrooms are functional before booking. Overall a nice place to stay.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at Sue’s “cabin.” It’s set in a beautiful valley, surrounded by Vermont’s Green Mountains. Bennington is about a 15 minute drive, where there are interesting museums and monuments—and the standard and useful stores. It’s a college town, and so has a number of excellent restaurants and bars. The house itself appears to have been enlarged a few times, so its layout is a bit quirky. “We had a nice stay at this lovely place. It's tucked away at the end of a dirt road. We never saw another human only some wild turkeys. It was great to sit in the hot tub and look at the seasonal stream and the beautiful trees surrounding the property. ”
