“We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail.
The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty.
Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms.”
“Ett jätte mysigt hotell/motell i bra skick. Se till att få rum i vänstra delen om du står i receptionen. Annars får du rum mot motorvägen.
Bra resturanger i närheten.

“I stayed there one night for business - i was in room 5, on the first floor, by the access door. The rooms are very noisy: poor soundproofing meant that noise came from the pub downstairs, the rooms on both side (I could hear my neighbours cough as clearly as if they were in my room) and outside (one window was soundproofed but not the french door leading on to the balcony - what is the point?)
The room cleaning was ok but the bathroom did smell of mould, and the shower is full of it - please...
“Stayed 2 nights, first night the toilet would not flush and was blocked, the shower was faulty, cold water pulsing on and off so either a cold shower or a shower that would go from scalding hot to freezing cold.
The front desk gave us another room, smaller than the one we paid for and the toilet did work, bit the shower was the same.
Breakfast was not nice, beside the front entrance was the smoking area, so we had to run past holding our breath.
Terrible place. Choose somewhere else.”
