“Everything about Langley Castle was excellent. The room was grand and spacious, with a view of the castle. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent as well, and as a guest at the hotel you get the chance to go on the complimentary Battlement guided tour. It's well worth a stay and I'll definitely come back some day. ”

“A change of plans took me to Hexham and the Beaumont hotel for what was to be a very pleasant experience. Arrived two hours early and was only looking to store my bagage as I fully expected to be asked to wait until regular check-in was open. Instead the hotel went the extra mile and had my room ready in a bit more than half an hour. And the Abbey and the pleasant park just across the road it was very easy to spend those 30 minutes in relaxing way. I got a spacious twin room on the 1st floor...

“Only saw reception staff to check in which was quite late after a wedding. Castle grounds are superb but parking is tricky. We stayed outside in the coach block only one space left well away from our room. The room is very small but clean and served its purpose for a night stay. Obviously very old,the stairs were very steep to the second floor which I didn’t realise I thought it was all ground floor level, which was tricky with mobility issues. Nice to have a later checkout of 11am though.”

“Very noisy from corridor to room and smelly bathroom with moldy smell”

“Vi hade bokat Superior rum men undrar om det verkligen var något "extra" med det. Toan var i ett rum medans badkar, dusch och vask var i ett annat rum. Sängarna var väldigt hårda men vi sov väldigt bra i dem. De hade glömt att boka taxi till oss den morgonen när vi skulle hem och när vi väl fick en taxi och ankom till flygplatsen hade hotellet angett att vi skulle betala för turen fast att det ingick i priset. Frukosten var ingen höjdare.”

“I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality and spaciousness of my room (10). Staff were friendly and professional; the assistant at breakfast was first rate in supporting a substantial number of guests. And the Craster kippers were excellent. The one thing missing at breakfast was a bowl of fresh fruit. Dinner was well prepared and presented. All in all a very good experience at the Duke of W.”
