“The Finegold Nugget provided delightful, well-appointed accomodations (more than expected, with the assortment of dishes and flatware also provided). Beautiful room and beautiful grounds. We had a very relaxing weekend, which was the goal! If I had any complaint, it might be that the mini-fridge in the room was more mini than I was expecting. We filled it up! And as a suggestion, possibly get some mini ice trays to put in the freezer so the guests could have ice available if they wished. ...

“The house was clean and relatively well stocked. Our group of 9 had everything that we needed. The property felt nice and private with no neighbors in view. The trail down to the river was steep but short, and the spot at the river is absolutely gorgeous. Some additional instructions for some things - like how to turn on the hot tub and the outside string lights would have been helpful and saved us some time. Other than that it was a great place to stay.”

The location was great for heading into Yosemite (closer to an hour drive but not a big deal) the drive is gorgeous. The owners were fantastic: responsive, kind, and genuinely caring hosts. Didn’t use the fire pit or the fireplace. Bring your own wood or logs for fireplace. The firepit is gas.The propane grill worked very well.
