“The cottage is the most peaceful little getaway for us. We loved seeing the animals on the property and the outdoor living spaces were so lovely to use at night for relaxing. The cottage itself was so cute with the raccoon theme and we took advantage of the dvd collection! We will be back soon for sure!”

“This place was just renovated so everything was new and pristine. While it’s not directly on the beach it’s a short walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearly across the street. We brought our bikes and adventured around the island. Saw lots of shells and dolphins. Thank you.”

“We did not even stay at this property thanks to the host. We were about an hour away from the property when the host finally contacted us to let us know he double booked. He tried blaming VRBO stating that he tried contacting them. We ended up having to get a hotel room in which we then contacted VRBO and had no problem getting in touch with them and no problem getting a hold of them.”

“I wanted to get as close as I could to Bowman’s Beach and Blind Pass to go shell collecting. For the price this was a gem. I was able to do my daily walks at 5am collecting shells and be back for breakfast/brunch with my husband. Couldn’t walk on the beach to Blind Pass, have to walk on bike trail. So if you’re interested in shell collecting this spot was very good. You get a beach pass to park at the Trade Winds parking lot which was empty most of the time. “We really enjoyed our time here. The house is in a great location with plenty of privacy. We had a lot of fun using the kayaks, and the closeness of the put-in was great. Well stocked with everything we needed - even a stacked washer/dryer. Has a homey feel as another reviewer said. There is a grocery store nearby and a good amount of restaurants around. “The room was wonderful, beautiful views of the bay and beach. However the floors were filthy. Management needs to hire a tile cleaning company to professionally clean the floors. The dust mop method used by the hotel staff does not work. If you walk aroung barefooted in the room your feet WILL become black.”

“På hemsidan står det att hotellet har pool, samt trädgård att grilla i. När vi kommer dit är hela poolområdet och trädgård förstörd efter orkanen förra året. Inget som framgick på hemsidan. Allt utomhus ser ut som en byggarbetsplats. Vi kommer överens med hotellet att vi lämnar direkt och åker vidare då vi inte vill bo på det sättet. Vi blir lovade att få tillbaka alla pengarna. Ändå debiterar dom oss för en natt. Tråkigt när man lagt mycket pengar på en resa och kommer till ett sådant ställe....
