Ocean Breeze is a beautiful 3 story, 3,000 square foot home situated on the private Banks Road in Palmetto Point.
There are a lot of great things about our home, but these are the major highlights. We have a backup generator, Starlink internet, our tap water is filtered and safe to drink from the tap, we have a washing machine and dryer available for your use, and my favorite feature... it takes 30 seconds to get from the front door to sinking your toes into the pink sand beach!!
Our home features a generous amount of outdoor living space. Other amenities include twice filtered water right from the tap (this will save you from having to buy bottled water on the island, which can add up to a lot!), a kitchen stocked with all of the dishes and utensils you could need, and enough living space to enjoy spending time with your friends and family that are lucky enough to come with you on this trip.
Between the Rocks beach is a 30 second walk away from the front door of the home. The beautiful pink sand beach stretches for miles in either direction and is a great place for snorkeling and sunset strolls.
As soon as you pull into the circular driveway you will feel right at home.

This house is beautiful and right across the street from a very nice Atlantic-side beach. It was amazing to be able to sit on the beach in the mornings while waiting for the rest of the family to wake up. I highly recommend it as a place to stay! It has very nice chairs, a cooler, and just about anything else you would need except an umbrella. The filtered water, Starlink, and generator make it easy. One note about island life - the generator was running when we arrived, and we got two showers in with no issues. Later in the evening, the generator would trip offline every time we tried to shower, so we gave up and took a couple of cold showers in the dark via headlamp before resetting it for the evening. The a/c was off and only a few lights on, so I think maybe the generator can't run the water heater. Not a big deal and the grid power was back by the next morning. Very helpful communication from the owner about the generator before we arrived. I would also note that this house is maybe 20 minutes down a very potholed dirt road from the last paved road, which could get tedious if you plan to go in and out multiple times per day. But for an Eleuthera residential vacation home experience, this house is wonderful: beautiful to relax in, great views out its many windows, and a gorgeous upper bedroom with an ocean view and great airflow. Clean and well appointed, with a binder of very helpful island info and a copy of the beach book to use. We would be excited to stay here again!

The water filtration system was great and not having to buy bottled water was a cost saving and also cuts down on plastics. The house was very clean and well organized with sunscreen and bug spray there for use which was very thoughtful.

My overall rating is that this was an excellent rental. Beautiful clean home. Quiet location and steps to the beach. Everything in the home was nice and worked very well with only the minor Bahamas type hiccups. ie: dryer timer was broken (but dryer worked fine) and AC couldn't be turned off...stuck on low in one bedroom. My only complaint would be that after reading over all the information about the home I expected it to be directly on the beach. It is not. It has another home directly in front of it between it and the beach. Having said that, it IS only steps away from the beach and does have a private access path to the beach. But the ocean view from the house is almost non-existent.We loved it. Had a great time snorkeling and fishing.

I would have rated this a 3.5 if I could have. Overall, the house was good. Unfortunately, the nice master bed & bath were up a steep spiral staircase that there was no way we could carry a suitcase up to! For the price, the house should've been a bit more comfortable. The beach near the house is superb! The property manager was awesome and very responsive, as was the owner.

We loved our stay at the Ocean Breeze. The house is very spacious and worked well for our family of 4. The location in N Palmetto Point is ideal with the beach just a quick walk across the sandy road. Beach chairs, coolers, floats, water shoes and snorkel gear were all provided and a huge help. We loved sitting out on the porch and sleeping to the sound of the ocean. We highly recommend this property!

Nice house

Worked well as a home base. Everything worked well and enjoyed the birds in the pond in back.Wish there were more than 3 dishwasher pods for the week. For four people it doesn't last long. The beach has a lot of sharp glass so be careful of that. Some of them stick straight up out of the rocks like they are part of the rocks. Ten Bay beach was a very short drive and perfect for kids.

Beautiful home, wonderful host, the best destination

This home is spectacular. Very spacious and clean. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking and is well supplied with linens. The decor is just beautiful and so relaxing with comfortable furniture and beds. The location is across a sand road from a beach that is not good for swimming but is beautiful for relaxing in a chair and reading, and at low tide it’s perfect for walking. There’s a gorgeous sandy place for swimming a short walk from the house. Highly recommended! I’d return in a heartbeat.

Mommy Daughter Trip 2024

I could not be more pleased with our first annual Mommy Daughter get away. Ocean Breeze did not disappoint! The home was the perfect accomodations with the perfect amenities. Nicole and her family has ensured you have everything you need for an island getaway from snorkeling gear to beach chairs and coolers! Beautiful, Comfortable Home in a Stunning Location

We spent a delightful 6 days exploring the incredible island of Eleuthera from our lovely base, Ocean Breeze. Had a blast with our three grown children snorkeling the reefs near the house, reading on the beach, and just relaxing at the house. The location was a little remote, which made it extra special- it felt like a lush tropical oasis! The house was equipped with everything we needed, and the owner and property manager were easily accessible and responsive. The electricity on Eleuthera does go out frequently, but the automatic generator worked like a dream. It was a wonderful place to make more great memories as a family! Anything else specific I should say,

Perfect for a beach vacation

We had a great time at the Ocean Breeze. The owner has provided everything needed for days at the beach. There are beach chairs, towels, and snorkeling equipment. The beach is so quick and easy to get to. A very short walk and you usually have it completely to yourself. The snorkeling is very good even in shallow water. Should you want to explore, other gorgeous beaches are a short drive away. Georgetown is about a 15 minute drive away. The house itself is large and very comfortable. It overlooks a pond that has a number of birds. You will often see crabs scuttling around on the property. While we were there, the power went off several times and the generator kicked on (automatically). That is a major plus anytime you are staying on Eleuthera. Also, when we had a couple of issues, the owner was very quick to see them resolved. We go to Eleuthera for its beauty and (where we stayed) the lack of noise and traffic. Ocean Breeze checks all the boxes!

Beautiful well maintained house

The house was very clean and comfortable and well maintained The gardener cut up a couple of coconuts for us which we enjoyed! we liked being able to drink the double filtered water from the sink so we didn’t have to haul water It is a very short walk to a beautiful beach. The upstairs master bedroom has a great view of the ocean. This is our 7th trip to Eleuthera and we would be happy to stay at Ocean Breeze again!

Wonderful home

The pictures are accurate, possibly understated even. This is a terrific home. Everything you need. The beaches nearby are amazing, world-class. Nicole, the owner, was super responsive and helpful. Her materials provide abundant information and suggestions. This is Central Eleuthera. Beaches, of course, but also a number of excellent restaurant options close-by. We visited the Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve - would recommend!

Ocean Breeze reprieve

Our family's stay at this North Palmetto Point gem was exceptional! Just across a sandy street, the Atlantic Ocean lapped the shore, visible from the second-floor bedroom - a picturesque start to each day. A quick drive whisked us to the lovely 10 Bay Beach, a hit with our little ones. The house is spacious, ideal for our family, including a four-year-old and a one-year-old. The kitchen is a chef's dream, and the patio, complete with a grill, became our favorite dining spot. There were beach toys and snorkeling equipment included as well as beach chairs. The owner was incredibly responsive, kind, and accommodating. From the moment we booked, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. They were always available for any queries or concerns we had and provided fantastic recommendations for local attractions and eateries. Our stay in this North Palmetto Point house was a perfect blend of tranquility, comfort, and genuine Bahamian charm. We returned home with hearts full of precious memories and look forward to the day we can return to this serene slice of paradise. If you're looking for the ideal family-friendly getaway in Eleuthera, I wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Fabulous stay

The house was beautiful, kitchen well equipped, amenities a luxury. Loved the porches. The ocean out front had amazing reefs. We caught a couple of lobsters and saw sting rays, turtles, tropical fish. The beach was remote and the sands were silky. Nicole quickly responded to questions and did everything possible to make our stay great. Can't wait to return.
