“My husband and I stayed here over a long weekend to explore the Staunton area and it worked out nicely. The owners were always very on top of communication, kind, and accommodating. Everything in the home was decorated well, and functioned well for 2 people who like to save a bit and do breakfast in the house and have some leftovers around after eating out. The location was close to downtown and we walked practically everywhere in the downtown area from the house. It does sit atop a pretty steep...

“This cottage was the perfect place for us! It's in a very quiet neighborhood near a park that has a trail by the river and plenty of picnic tables. There is a grocery store nearby, good restaurants and just about anything else you would need. The house was spotless and we arrived to find snacks, and milk, eggs and butter already in the fridge. We highly recommend!”

“We only had three days to pack in as much outside time as we could, and this lovely house was a perfect base. It was an easy drive to Shenandoah National Park, Harrisonburg and Grand Caverns. We cooked for ourselves and the kitchen had everything we needed. We grilled outside and had a lovely fire in the fire pit. Everything was wonderful!”

“This setting was absolutely bucolic, and the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains were stunning. But it seemed as if the owner was not ready for our visit. We arrived on a very chilly day, and the heaters had been turned on, but not long enough to warm up the cottage. We actually had to sleep in our coats it was so cold that first night. It took almost 24 hrs for the cottage to feel comfortable. It appeared that we were the first guests of the year, and the cottage had not been deep cleaned since...

“The property was quite cozy, off the main road, and extremely peaceful. Sitting in the hot tub looking at stars was a great way to end the night. Located about 40 minutes from Lurray and a short drive to Massanutten leaves plenty of options for the whole family. The property seemed well maintained by the host and we felt welcome upon arrival. We will likely be back next year!”
