We were also very thankful that we were able to bring our 2 dogs. The yard was totally fenced in and the dogs had as much fun as we did. “Great place for relaxing at the lake. Plenty of room with a nice gas fireplace and outdoor fire pit. We moored our 19’ open bow boat at the dock and that worked great. Since it was September we didn't go in the lake, but I’d ask about beach usage before renting. Walkable to a couple restaurants. ”

“Our kids and grandkids all meet up with us each February to ski Gore Mt. The cabin was perfect. The kids declared the hosts “so generous!!” as they leave snacks and a hot cocoa bar. The owner was accessible and responsive. Our poodles were welcome and we did not have to worry about their safety as we were waaaay off the beaten path! ”

Many great outdoor activities - 10 min from white water rafting on Hudson (wild waters outdoor centre), lovely walks in the area and close to lake George.
