“It was close to a lot of Alamo Heights which has lovely shopping and excellent restaurants. It is affordable and clean and adjacent to my favored parts of the city. Those seeking closeness to the SA most famous attractions might find it remote”

“The receptionist who made our check-in looked and acted like he was stoned, (we even saw him the next morning in the back of the building by the parking lot sitting on the tarmac smoking cigarettes) the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke, they asked for a 40 dollar deposit at the check-in which felt odd. There was no breakfast and we couldn't use the pool in the morning since it was getting maintenance and it's placed in front of the building were everyone driving through the street could see...

“Very nice owners and clean room. No bugs, no roaches. None. The only bad thing is the pet fee. Staying here a week and they charge $30 a day for two cats. That gets expensive! Our room does not at all smell like cats. My wife got a small mop from the store and mops twice a day to keep everything very clean. We believe it is important to leave a room cleaner than when ypu came. A few other things that were undesirable was some homeless guy running back and fourth on the sidewalk next to the motel...
