“When my family and me arrived at the hotel it was closed. There was nobody in the reception and no one answering the phone so that we could cancel the reservation. When we contact hotels.com for help with the cancelation (we had a non cancellable reservation) we got no help. The hotel and surrounding area were shabby and dirty, definitely not a hotel that I would recommend anybody to stay at.”

“We had a great stay, Jen was great and as well as Mark. We needed to add a day to our and they had the availability and were able to accommodate us. Check in and check out was super easy. The only issue we had was the bed a lot firmer than we were used to. The only other suggestion I would make is being bug spray! Its Northern Ontario and the bugs will carry you away! The lake view was great and the deck was great to sit on and relax.”

“Had a great stay, we were in cabin 1, it was cozy. There was a separate bunkie with a bathroom. Simple but just what we needed for an overnight stay. Enjoyed the communal fire pit area with the other guests and the privacy of the courtyard. Great location, with the downtown a walking distance for us. Would stay here again.”

Some recommendations/feedback: a different universal remote (I could not get the buttons to work when using the dvd player), provide or inform renters that they need to bring oven mitts (I could not find any) and consider adding the wifi password to the info sheet by the door (could only get the wifi password by using wifi/data to access the Expedia app). Overall, it was a very nice week!”
