“No towel and no room service”

“Air conditioning was not working - temp was 25 deg cel whole night - difficult to sleep.”

“I would like to write a better review for the Executive Suites because the staff were friendly and professional. However, the property is dingy, dated and not acceptable at the price point. The A/C worked but was not installed well so the main bedroom was full of moths. For similar cost, there are other motels in Chapleau that are very clean, centrally located and nicely updated. This motel needs to upgrade or drop its price!”

“Recently renovated and converted property with large suites, adequately furnished with all basic furniture and kitchen appliances and dishes etc. Rooms were clean, linen was good quality, kitchen was clean and tidy. Great short term stay. ”

“The office was a bit complicated to find when we arrived. The host was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The suite encompassed a well equipped kitchen complete with full size refrigerator/freezer, stove with oven, countertops and sink. Perfect for cooking our meals. In addition to a large living room, dining area, and bath, there were two large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Well worth the money. Recommend it for either a short or long stay. We were there 3 nights.”

“The office check in was strange. Not an office setting. Little things need attention. Dish towels were rags. Bath mat looked old. Pieces of drywall sitting in hallways. Outside premises could use a spruce up.”
