“We had a great stay! We were traveling with our dogs and it’s great to find dog friendly accommodations in an amazing place. Location was outstanding , if you plan on staying close or as a home base for day trips north or south for even more hiking, biking and outdoor activities. Worth mentioning that the single bedroom is "railroaded" between the master and bathroom, and that the loft bedroom has minimal privacy, so maybe not great for larger groups. Overall the space is as advertised and an excellent value for the cost. ”

“We spent the night in Mad River Valley at the 1830 House for a weekend event. The house was clean and cosy and it accommodated all of us. The Wifi worked well and we loved the privacy each of us had in our own rooms. We also appreciated the kitchen (there are two, if you book the whole house - one up and one down!). It was close to our venue, the Mad River Barn, too. The only downside (minor) was the steep stairwell to the second floor. There was no railing to guide guests. My 84-year-old mom...
